3 Simple Ways to Have a Safe Experience at Your Next Live Event

Are you worried about the precautions you will need to take at your next live event, and whether it will be worth the hassle?

Don’t be!

The reality is that in-person trade shows and other live events will only return en masse once the national spread of Covid-19 has been contained. Therefore, while we can expect live events to adapt to the current times, we also shouldn’t expect them to be radically different. Major changes, like swaddling your booth in plexiglass or anti-microbial materials, will not be necessary if the virus is under control.   Instead, we recommend you make three simple improvements that will stand the test of time and the pandemic:

1. Providing hand sanitizer at your greeting counter or booth entrance.

A handshake has always been the best sales tool, and an easy, friendly greeting. You can eliminate the concern of spreading germs by providing your staff and attendees a convenient way to clean their hands at any time.

2. Use digital marketing materials in lieu of printed documents.

Digital kiosks and QR codes represent modern ways to pass along important information in, respectively, a personal or touch-free manner. This will also help your budget by saving on recurring printing and transportation costs.

3. Provide your booth staff with matching, branded face masks.

Maintaining a consistent brand identity, even down to your staff appearance, is a key aspect of event marketing. Plus, branded masks can make for a fun booth give-away.

Regardless of your approach to your next show, it is better to implement small effective changes than to make a grand appearance of doing something.

Let’s all look forward to the day when we can be together again.
