FBD2 On Display at The Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park

FB Displays and Designs, alongside Wegmans and Rich’s Products, is proud to announce their sponsorship of the newest exhibit in the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park museum. The exhibit, “Two Wars: The Road to Integration,” tells the story of military integration, from the Revolutionary War, through World War II and Executive Order 9981, up to the present day.

The FBD2 team designed and produced a 10’ mural and multiple dimensional panels that that highlight key moments in the struggle for integration, such as about Executive Order 9981, Doris Miller, and Black Women’s roles in the war. The exhibit also features artifacts from Buffalo native Indiana Hunt Martin, a private in the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, the only all-Black female unit from WWII.

The Buffalo Naval & Military Park opened for their 2022 season on March 26th. The Two Wars exhibit is planned to be on display until 2024.
