Step Up Your Exhibit’s Flooring

When FB Displays and Designs was established in 1994, then called FB Portable Displays, carpeting was standard for any and all trade show events. Since then, flooring options have come a long way. Patterns, custom colors, printed designs and more eco-friendly options, are all fairly standard in the exhibit market. And carpet is no longer the golden standard to cover up that convention hall concrete or hotel ballroom pattern.

These days the options are unlimited.

Wood

There are so many options in wood floors, whether real, a wood composite, or a vinyl print resembling wood planks. Tongue-and-groove planks or large 3’ tiles that snap together are the most common wood floors.

Vinyl

Vinyl flooring can come in a variety of thicknesses, usually ranging up to half an inch. This floor is usually a foam pad layered under a vinyl print and laminant. The built in foam adds padding to help standing fatigue and can offer channels for invisible wiring. Stock patterns or custom printed designs are the most common vinyl floors.

Artificial Turf

Get the experience of grass without the traffic wear down of actual sod. Turf is certain to be a unique choice on the show floor and is great themed option for sporting goods, landscaping teams, and agricultural manufacturer.

Specialty

From raised floors to textured floors to woven flooring to gel floor tiles and more, there are a wide range of niche flooring options for specific uses or to give your booth some unique flair.

Tile v Roll

No matter the type of floor you choose you’ll likely have to decide if you want it in a tile or roll form. Both have their advantages, rolled floor has a cleaner end result, while tile is easy to ship and store with the rest of your exhibit materials.
